The Oakville Children’s Choir enjoys the support of the community, local business, government funding agencies, public and private foundations – Friends who understand the value of the choral arts and the role that it plays in shaping and developing the voices of tomorrow. Like most performing arts groups The Oakville Children Choir must rely on a combination of earned income and our own fundraising efforts. Monies earned through program fees, concert ticket and cd sales account for only 53% of the funds required to run a world-class choral arts program. The remaining 47% must be raised through corporate donations and sponsorships, government and foundation grants, special events and from individuals like you, who believe in the power and the purpose of The Oakville Children’s Choir. Friends of The Oakville Children’s Choir receive information on upcoming concerts and events in addition to the numerous benefits listed below. You can also elect to designate your gift to support a particular OCC program or area of interest. We rely on the financial support of our families and community. All donations exceeding $10.00 will receive a charitable donation receipt. We are now able to receive your donation through the secure web site CanadaHelps.org.
