Bursary and Endowment Funds
Making a difference to children in our community!
The OCC strives to represent the community within the makeup of all choirs. We aim to be inclusive in our membership and welcome members of all socioeconomic groups in the region of Halton. Each year we have many applicants who are unable to afford the tuition fees of the choir. Our goal is that no child who loves to sing and has talent be turned away.
Our bursary program allows us to enroll choristers whose families are experiencing financial challenges. Bursary funds cover the costs associated with choir membership that are included in our tuition: music instruction, workshops, festivals, retreats, theory, vocal coaching, music, and uniforms.

Our bursary application deadline is September 1, 2017. Please ensure you have first registered your child online (after receiving an official acceptance letter) and then please submit the bursary application within 48 hours of registration or notify us that you will be sending us this in lieu of payment. A 2016 Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment is a requirement (exceptions are made for those new to Canada).
