Janet Stachow holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Toronto, where she minored in piano, choral conducting and composition. There, she was the assistant conductor of the main choir with Prof. Lori-Anne Dolloff. Ms. Stachow also holds a Bachelor of Education degree from U of T and taught elementary music for seven years for the Peel Board of Education. She also sang soprano in the Exultate Chamber Singers in Toronto for several years. Janet was the founding music director of the ‘Choral de Lites Youth Choir’ in Port Perry and is very excited to be the new Associate Music Director of The Oakville Children’s Choir!
