Senior Choir is comprised of singers in grades 5 and up. The members of this ensemble are required to know how to read music and have good vocal skills. Weekly two- hour rehearsals, sectionals and extra scheduled rehearsals are required. Mandatory attendance at an annual retreat kicks off each new choir season. Choristers must commit to numerous performance opportunities in the community, as well as out-of-town. The Senior Choir undertakes a major tour every two years. Senior choristers may expect to miss an average of three school days.

Intermediate Choir is comprised of singers in grades 4 and up. The members of this ensemble are required to know how to sing in tune and although music reading in not necessary, it is an asset. Training in choral singing and instruction in music reading is provided. Membership requires weekly 90-minute rehearsals, weekly theory, musicianship classes, several annual local performances, competitions and some travelling within Ontario. Intermediate choristers may expect to miss an average of two half-days of school.

Cherub Choir is comprised of singers in grades 2 to 4. In this ensemble, the children are introduced to the basics of choral singing and music theory. The commitment to this choir involves a weekly one hour rehearsal, weekly musicianship and theory, several annual performances and no out-of-town travel. Cherub choristers may expect to miss an average of two half-days of school.

Chamber Choir is a select group of choristers from the Senior Choir who have attained a higher level of vocal skill and musicianship. Chamber Choir members are frequently called upon to serve as ambassadors for our community. This small group of dedicated choristers performs extensively and receives more opportunities to travel.

Boy Choir is comprised of boys from the Cherub, Intermediate and Senior Choirs. This ensemble attends workshops with other boy choirs and performs as an ensemble at the annual concerts. Music is studied through home tape study and special rehearsals. The Boy Choir rehearses once each month throughout the school year.
